As you know, children in low poverty areas lack various resources daily due to a variety of factors. They face internal challenges such as; not believing that there are possibilities of opportunity for advancement, not having exposure to the skills needed for their identified goals, and not possessing the self-esteem or self-assurance that goals can be obtained. They also face external challenges such as; poverty, unemployment, crime and violence, lack of proper adult supervision, early exposure to alcohol and drugs, and negative peer pressure. RYF’s objectives and goals are to overcome these adversities and challenges. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, children are the most at risk, and they are our clients who we serve.

With the generous support of people like you, we will be able to continue to assist these children to not only meet essential daily needs, but to work toward a brighter future with the programs, camps, mentoring, education, and counseling we provide.
